Happily Ever After...

So, I decided to start a blog and write down random thoughts I have. I am calling my first post 'Happily Ever After' since that is what everyone wants, but rarely anyone gets. Fairy tales are great to tell kids; everything ends just fine, the good guys win, and then everyone lives happily ever after. Though, that never happens in real life. Problems just keep popping- you tackle one and another shows up. The name reminds me that there is no "ever after" in reality.

But we like to live a world of fiction where all turns out to be just okay. It gives us the false sense that our problems will one day be over. "Happily Ever After" is just a new beginning after "The End".
